How it works

The cutting action is achieved by creating a series electric sparks that break down the hardest metals into powder.
An electrode, held in the head of the machine which vibrates, causing an intense spark, whilst a coolant is pumped through the electrode to wash away the powdered metal, and assist with the disintegration process.

Our product line includes all sizes of portable metal disintegrator machinery from light 3 KVA machines, portable table top machines, to 20 KVA   units.

The  disintegration   process only removes the centre out of a broken-off tap or drill, and because the cut is continuously flushed with coolant, the work piece stays cool and unaffected. Once the centre is cut out, the flutes of the tap are easily removed from the hole

The process can also cut hexagon or square shapes to help remove studs or bolts with other tooling, remove studs by a series of cuts, or mark identification on rolls of steel, drill and counter bore holes, etc.

Under the new REACH requirements, the only dielectric used is water.
